Tribute Ink

Thread is in large part founded on telling the toughest, most sensitive stories in a military context.

For that reason, we knew of the rich history held by military tattoos and what they mean to the wearer – they represent a huge part of the trauma healing process. So when the Royal British Legion came to us to work on their Tribute Ink tattoo exhibition, we jumped at the chance. 

Craig and Dani were amongst the contributors who shared their powerful stories with us as part of a suite of films that formed part of the exhibition which toured the UK. Thread also created a suite of materials to support marketing of the exhibition.
